The world’s leading professional series of exhibitions, HDD (Hotelex + Design & Deco) highlighting hotel decoration and design products will open from 9 to 12 April 2012 at Shanghai New International Expo Center. As the most influential hotel professional forum, the Forum on China Hotel Technology and Investment Management will be held in the afternoon on the first day. Humans and the health of the earth are interrelated. When considering food problems, we must remove the barriers between nutrition and environment, safety and adequate supply, quality and quantity. We must consider creating a food supply system to meet all of these objectives, and we should not destroy the resources for providing enough supplements. Except for keeping the kitchen clean to eliminate the security hidden danger, but also considering energy conservation, emission reduction and reducing waste, and promote social health, customer satisfaction, in order to reach the goal of sustainable low-carbon healthy environmental protection.

• On 11 April, Shanghai Catering Association president He Yizhao will make a speech on Green Kitchen Management.

The forum on international hotel technology relies on the hotel sample room and invites well-known international hotel designers to analyse the design ideas of future hotels and the engineering standards of domestic and foreign high-end hotels, and make a interpretation of how to change the hotel appearance and the theme soul of the hotels by technology.
