							The 2025 HOTELEX Rising Star Chef—China International Young Chef Competition, building on the legacy of its previous eight editions, will undergo a fresh transformation in 2025. Both the logo and promotional materials have been upgraded. Contestants will no longer be limited to culinary students; chefs from hotels and cooking enthusiasts are also eligible to participate. Additionally, this year will see the inclusion of international competitors, allowing participants to experience a wider array of culinary creations from different countries, thereby enhancing the competition’s appeal.
The workstations for the Young Chef Challenge will be set up in accordance with the standards of the World Association of Chefs’ Societies, providing a more professional platform for the competitors.
The Young Chef Challenge aims to establish itself as the premier evaluation and showcase platform within the national Western culinary industry. By integrating a professionally authoritative evaluation system, it combines expert opinions with consumer preferences to offer a comprehensive, multi-layered assessment of the participants. The competition seeks to recognize and honor the industry-acclaimed, authoritatively certified “Rising Star Young Chefs,” providing a stage for the future master chefs to showcase their exceptional skills.
